I was first introduced to issho when my sister-in-law tagged me in one of Eric’s posts. This post was about Revive when it was in its concept stage, and I was tagged because it was something that I had recently been talking about at a family dinner. On a whim, I did something I don’t usually do—I messaged Eric. What I found was someone leading a mission much bigger than my dinner table ideas, and one I knew I had to be part of. From that moment, I’ve seen issho as the bridge that connects my passions for good, the outdoors, life experiences and desire to create change.
I joined the team and immediately dove into the developing issho Revive. Here, I’ve been able to bring together my working knowledge of building systems and my passion for real estate. The result is a business that empowers people to upgrade their homes in resilient and future-ready ways.
I resonate most with people who want to reduce their footprint and gain independence through self-reliance and control.
I respect those who want to be prepared to weather the storms and ever changing environments we experience today.
I understand those who need these technologies and systems to create a healthier and more balanced home.
Helping people pursue resilient living practices is what drives me to continue bringing industry-leading systems, solutions, and services through Revive… However, my two year journey with issho hasn’t just revolved around Revive…
Prior to joining the team, I was aware of issho Habitat, and that Martin and Eric were building a super-cool, futuristic, generative (Did I know what this word meant back then? Not at all.), modular home. Like most people, when I was first introduced to Namu, I responded with “I want one”. Beyond its stunning architecture and intentional language, Habitat presents a solution that I believe we greatly need, a home built with the future in mind. This business line, beginning with Namu, brings a level of consciousness to the building industry that doesn’t just solve today’s problems but works to reduce its impact on the future.
While developing Revive and Habitat, we often talked about meeting people where they are and creating a business that is accessible to everyone. Yet our offerings didn’t fully reflect that vision. Through many collective conversations, the concept of issho Store emerged—a place where people who aren’t ready to upgrade or purchase a home can still access resilient and generative technologies and solutions. As someone intentional about shopping, this idea just made sense to me. With no prior experience in e-commerce but a strong appreciation for quality products and brand loyalty, it’s been exciting to help curate conscious home goods for all.
Being a part of issho is giving me the opportunity to leave the world better than I found it. Since I was a child, this has been very important to me. What started as P and Q’s, grew into actions aligned with the reduce, reuse, recycle movement, then expanded into consciousness around food choices, community building, environmentalism, and now a new approach to generative building.
We are still in the early stage of this journey, and I cannot wait to see where it takes us. Thanks for joining us on this crazy ride.
